Macy's Music Fest Day 2 Rainout
We expected this to be the best fest ever, my wife and I. The music system was often louder for the band than for the lead singer, not up to par. On the second day, when it began to rain, there was no consistent word/decision on the balance of the concert given by stadium staff and supervisors. We missed our very first opportunity to see New Edition, needless to say, which was arguably the biggest draw of this year's fest. The balance of the concert would be cancelled due to the storm and lightning strikes, we were told. The music continued about midnight with Ne-Yo and Lord Huron, we found out the next day, and continued until about 2:45 am. Ticketmaster could restore a bit of good will by providing a discount on the next purchased event because of our inconvenience and disappointment. We had come to the previous 7.
